Reflective Practice Facilitation & Training

OVERVIEW        AGENCIES & PROGRAMS        CLINICIANS & CONSULTANTS       EARLY CHILDHOOD PROFESSIONALS

Training

In the last few years, I have designed and taught classes geared toward endorsement for infant mental health specialists as well as reflective practice facilitators for large groups of people.  Please see Teaching Experience under About me and the list of Trainings on Agencies & Programs  for more information on training possibilities based on previous classes and trainings over the last 15 years.

Please contact with me with questions and to see if I might be able to meet your needs.

I offer reflective practice facilitation to individuals and groups seeking hours. I am also available to help prepare for and respond to the application process.  As a Mentor, I can support both people working directly with clients and supervisors applying for the advanced Reflective Practice and Mentor Level Endorsements.

My goal is for you to think more deeply about your work, discover what you already know and feel confident about it, and learn more skills and information. I have been working in and supporting professionals in the early childhood field for over 15 years.

My consultation philosophy is based in reflective practice principles: helping people reflect on their work so that they can discover new ways of thinking. I can help you incorporate this stance in your own work with parents and other professionals.

Reflective Practice Facilitation

I am endorsed as an Infant Mental Health Specialist and Reflective Practice Faciliator III: Mentor by the West Ed’s California Center for Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health in both age groups (Birth to 2 years and  3-5 years). This means that I can offer training and reflective practice facilitation to those seeking any level of endorsement in either age group: core providers, specialists, facilitators, and mentors.
