The best way to reach me is by phone. I will return your call within 24 hours. Please leave good times in which I might call you.

If you prefer to use email, please limit your exchanges to scheduling or modifying appointments. I use hushmail.com which allows me to encrypt information that I send to you insuring confidentiality, but unless you can encrypt your emails know that information you send may be accessible by others during transmittal. Please note that an email exchange does not constitute a clinical relationship.

Getting to the Office

Please see the map and links at the right for convenient public transportation information and parking. The Ellis entrance of the Ellis/O’Farrell Garage is directly across the street from the rear of the Flood Building at 71 Ellis St.. Valet parking is offered at no additional charge.

The Powell Street BART/MUNI Station emerges at the Flood Building. The end of Powell Street Cable Car Line ends at the same place and several above ground MUNI Lines (F, 5, 6, 7, 21, 66, & 71) are also nearby.

My office is on the 7th floor. The Flood Building is wheelchair accessible. Please use the 870 Market Street Entrance.

Fees

It’s important to me that you find a therapist with whom you will feel comfortable; therefore, I offer a free half-hour phone consult.

My fee is comparable to other psychologists providing therapy. I have a few sliding scale openings. If you would like an adjusted fee, I ask that people discuss their finances with me.

I do not currently accept private insurance, but I am happy to provide you with the appropriate documentation to submit claims to your insurance company.
