I appreciate your taking the first step in getting help. I am a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adults, families and children of all ages. My social services career spans 20 years. I have been offering therapy since 1997.

My work with individuals and couples is complemented by my specialization in children and adolescents. I have been endorsed as an infant mental health specialist (birth through 5 years) by the California Center for Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health at the highest level of Mentor.

For the last 15 years, I have consulted to social service organizations to improve services to children and families by working with staff and administration to examine agency and individual practices. I have taught and supervised both new and established clinicians in consultation and psychotherapy at the University of California, San Francisco’s Infant-Parent Program and at other organizations throughout Northern California since 1999. My book describes some of this work.

I’ve created this website to help you learn about who I am and how I would approach our work together. Although therapy can become difficult as it delves deeper, initially it should feel reasonably comfortable and safe. It’s important to me that you find the right fit in your therapist.

If you have more questions or need help starting or seeking a good therapeutic match, please call or contact me for a free half-hour phone consultation.
